Whenever it gets hot—like uncomfortably hot—I never have a clear idea of what to wear. While I do love warm weather, the sweat, mixed with that uncomfortable chaffing and leg-jiggle (because yes, Caitlin, all legs jiggle regardless) has earned me the occasional complete mental breakdown in front of my closet. What I've come to realize after many Summers, and random heatwaves, is that I've just failed to really edit my closet when it comes to the Summer season. Maybe some of you have experienced this—what seems like—rookie mistake as well. Although I think we all add more warm weather pieces to our closets when Spring rolls around, there's always the occasional cool day or consistently breeze that still forces us to wear long sleeves or some sort of light jacket. However, Summer is obviously a whole other beast. Pieces that work for Spring, won't necessarily work for Summer. Because of that, I've assessed many of the issues I find when getting dressed in the morning and I think I've figured out the pieces I'll be wearing all Summer long.
