My Big Girl Shopping Guide For The Holidays
Caitlin Rance
It's that time of the year again! Regardless of what you celebrate, it's truly the best time of the year. Not only do you get to spend time with family and friends, (and fill up on everything you told yourself not to touch until the holidays) but it's also totally acceptable for you to ask for ridiculous items you could never buy yourself. Though were also literally celebrating the ridiculousness that is consumerism, we all live for that high of unwrapping literally ANYTHING. Like I'd probably be fine unwrapping an avocado just because I get to tear off decorated paper wrapped around an object. Weird? Whatever.
A lot of us are teetering around the edge of legit adulthood. Yes we may either be 18 or a bit past that age, but until you reach the age of 26 you're nothing but a child who knows how to use the toilet on their own. Still while the notion of adulthood is extremely scary, it's also a bit thrilling. Kind of. Actually not really.
I've started noticing my transformation into adulthood. I'm now always on the hunt for coupons, I'm obsessed with looking at cook-ware, and there's nothing like a Friday night in with a face mask on and some chamomile tea.
With all of this being said, I've decided this year to ask for "big girl" gifts. Listed below are items I've carefully selected that I truly believe will help you make yourself believe you're an actual big kid now.
